Pride in Place board appointees

We are thrilled to announce that Judith Bacon , Lead Trustee for Turlin Moor and Mel Lucas , Community Development Worker have been appointed to the newly formed Pride in Place Board for Hamworthy West and Turlin Moor.

The Pride in Place programme is the government's flagship communities project , which empowers local people to shape their neighbourhood. The aim of the programme is to create stronger communities , thriving places and for communities to take back control.

Debbie Dixon , Chair of Trustees said ' Congratulations to Judith and Mel , we are very proud of you and know you will be a huge asset to the Board.

The Pride in Place Board will work with the Council and local MP to deliver a 10-year plan supported by up to £20 m.
