ACROSS ALL THREE AREAS

 

We offer both own run and partnered activities for children and young people in all three areas we work in. From soft play for under 5's to a youth led cafe for teenagers under 18, we aim to put on something for everyone.

Summer 2026

Our Summer schedule

Due to funding / staffing hours we cannot run our regular youth offer outside of term time. To make up for this we run other programs, craft sessions and events to make sure our communities still have access to budget-friendly or free family activities.

What we are offering this summer:

  • A family funday in each area we work in
  • 9 free youth sessions for ages 4-17 at Bourne
  • 5 free youth sessions for ages 4-17 in Turlin Moor
  • 3 free craft sessions in Turlin Moor
  • Plus more!

Branksome

Featuring: Pavilion Dance Workshop and Performance - Crafts - Soft Play - Raffle - Cafe

Featuring: African Drumming by Rhythm Generation - Dry Ice workshop with science zone uk - Arts & Crafts - Cafe and more

Featuring: Bouncy castle - Bike Ability - BCP Pride in Place - Parks foundation - Family Hub - TM Youth Centre - Brownsea Island - Plus lots of stalls, free crafts & more!

What's on?

Our Youth Offer

Poole Communities Trust runs multiple youth activates across Bourne, Branksome and Turlin Moor respectively.

Our mission is to provide our chosen working areas with ether low cost or free, regularly run activities during the school term time, and one off sessions or events in the holidays.

A whats on poster to show the Poole Communities Trust Youth offer which shows the following: Monday Stay & Play under 5 softplay from 10 am till 11:30am at Bourne and an After School Cafe from 3 till 4pm at Branksome. Tuesday: Chill Blast and Chill Vibe youth sessions for children in years 4-6 from 4:30-6pm and years 7-9 from 6:30 till 8pm. Wednesday has Branksome toddlers which is soft play for under 5's from 9:30 - 11am at Branksome plus their afterschool cafe from 3-4pm. At Bourne they have Football for children aged 9-13 from 5:30 till 6:30pm and 2 dance sessions wiht years 6-8 being 5:30 till 6:15 then years 9+ from 6:15 till 7pm. Thursday we have dance at Branksome for 7-12 year olds from 4 till 5pm, Turlin moor has childrens football for ages 8-14 from 4:30 - 5:30pm and Dance for 7-12 year olds at 6pm-7pm. Finally they have Yafe, a youth cafe for under 18's at Bourne from 6:30-8PM

Bourne

Yafe

Yafe is the Bourne Community Hub's premier after school cafe designed by the youth for the youth. The cafe is open to anyone in school years 9+ (no over 18's) and features both a full cafe and games tables.

Football

Kick off your Wednesday evenings with a free football session with our football coach rosy. Football sessions are open to anyone ages 9 - 13 and is a great way to stay active and make firends.

Bonkerz Dance

Bonkerz Dance Academy bring free street dancing to the Bourne Community Hub.

Stay & Play

Come along to our stay and play group monday mornings! A fun, welcoming space for children under 5 to explore, play and socialize for only £1 per session.

Term Time Mondays          10AM - 11:30AM

Chill Blast

A fun and welcoming youth session where younger members can relax, play games, try crafts, and make friends in a safe space.

Term Time Tuesdays          4:30PM - 6PM

Chill Vibe

A relaxed evening session for older young people to hang out, play pool, table tennis, air hockey, and socialise with friends.

Branksome

After School Cafe

Get out the rain and visit our after school cafe! With budget-friendly snacks and warm drinks there something for everyone. Entertain the younger ones with colouring, football tables or take a coffee over to the local park!

Branksome Toddlers

Soft play designed for children under 5. A great opportunitiy to socialise for both parents / guardians and children!
