The Branksome Community Centre

The Branksome Community Centre is a vibrant hub located in North-East Poole that is operated by Poole Communities Trust. We provide affordable activities for all ages and abilities and a great place to meet old friends and make new ones.

The Branksome Community Centre also runs Coffee and Chat sessions twice a week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9:30am-11:30am. This is a perfect opportunity to pop in for a hot drink and some cake -open to all, including well behaved dogs!

Had a party booked here for my child and they couldn’t have been more helpful, place was clean, the staff and volunteers are friendly and is a reasonable price for such a big space.

I booked my sons first birthday party at the branksome centre. What a great venue. We had the hall and cafe and worked fantastic as the kids can blow off steam in the hall with all the toys etc and the adults can relax in the cafe. We have an exciting range of events at activities at the Branksome Community Centre! Below is a list that you can browse. If you have your own ideas for an event or community activity or you would like to find out more, please get in touch using the contact form at the bottom of this page.

 

Parties

We offer a party package of 3 hours 1-4pm for £90- this includes use of our Hall and Lounge rooms as well as our tables, chairs and kitchenette featuring hot water urn, mugs, microwave and dishwasher. 

We also need a £50 deposit which will be returned to you within a week as long as your party has been left clean and on time.

Please note that your booked time includes set up, pack down and clean up.

For example lots of parties start setting up at 1, ready for guests to arrive at 1:30-3:30 and then start tidying up ready to leave at 4pm. If you feel like you need more time, additional hours can be booked for £20 each.

Our Facilities

We have a range of rooms you can hire for kids parties, classes, social events or sports and activities. If you would like to set up a new activity or event please use the calendar above to click “plus” and complete the form, you are also welcome to  contact the Branksome Community Centre managers, Kyla Mares and Jade Tidbury, at adminbranksome@poolecommunititestrust.org.uk who would love to meet you and show you around.

The booking you make now will be provisional, we will respond to you within two to three working days with confirmation of your booking and any additional requirements.  

 

 
 
 

Activity Hall

The activity hall is a perfect space if you need a bit more room- ideal for sports, fitness, martial arts and more. This room also benefits from access from using our “blue gate” entrance, meaning attendees can walk straight into the hall, without passing other sessions or walking through our other rooms.

Lounge

The Lounge is a large and versatile space suitable for a wide range of uses- with access to a food and drinks area (with hot water urn, microwave, fridge and plenty of mugs), tables and chairs and even a couple of sofas.

The Flexi Room

The flexi room is a great room to hire for multiple activates  from martial arts to support groups and meetings. It also benefits from access to tables and chairs, which makes it great for a variety of offerings.

Multi Use Gym Area

The outside court is open during daylight hours everyday for free public use. It measures 24m x 15.5m.
If you would like to book the court privately, please get in touch with your proposed use, and preferred dates and we will see if this can be accommodated.
