Branksome Centre Break in
We’re heartbroken to share that Branksome Community Centre was broken into in the early hours of Thursday morning. The building has been damaged and several important items were stolen or broken.
For over 8 years, our centre — run by the charity Poole Communities Trust — has been a safe and welcoming space for the Branksome community. From youth activities and wellbeing sessions to support groups and community events, we’ve been proud to serve people of all ages and backgrounds.
This break-in has been a huge blow to us and our wonderful hirers, but we’re committed to rebuilding and continuing our work for the community.
With this in mind we are cancelling our toddler and cafe sessions until Wednesday to help us recover- but we hope to be back to normal soon.
As a small charity with no financial support from the council, we rely on donations and community goodwill to keep going.
We’re now asking for your help. Any contribution — no matter how small — will make a real difference. Your donation will go directly towards:
* Repairing the damage caused by the break-in
* Replacing stolen or broken equipment
* Helping us reopen our doors to the community as soon as possible
We know times are tough for many, but if you’re able to donate or even just share this page, we’d be incredibly grateful.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and belief in what we do.
Together, we can rebuild — and come back stronger than ever.
