Calling all young people interested in mixing music!
Create your own beats on a bar that serves bass rather than beer. Fresh from Glastonbury, The Working Boys Club are bringing their interactive sound installation ‘Serving Sounds’ to Bournemouth & Poole to make tracks with locals of Bourne.
The Working Boys Club was founded in 2020 by Jason & Adam Dupree, identical twins from Poole. Both started in the trades: Adam as car mechanic and Jason as an electrician. Noticing the lack of art made by and for the working class, they formed The Working Boys Club, blending their skills from the building site with those learnt in the rehearsal room.
On Wednesday 23rd August, 3-5pm you can join Jason & Adam to make some tracks on their bar for a free workshop, organised by Arts by the Sea Festival. No musical experience is required!
These workshops are aimed at teenagers and young adults and are free to attend. Places are limited so please get in touch to book your place: adminbourne@poolecommunitiestrust.org.uk
