Our Trustees

Judith

Judith

Lead Trustee of Turlin Moor

I have worked in and around social care for over 30 years in both the voluntary and statutory sectors, with my most rewarding role focused on reducing loneliness and isolation for people living in Poole. Working within a small organisation allowed us to respond quickly to local needs and explore new initiatives. I joined Poole Communities Trust as Lead Trustee for Turlin Moor to continue supporting local projects that make a positive impact. Finding funding is always a challenge, but a rewarding one, and I’m proud to be part of a team that works with communities to develop meaningful local initiatives.

I began working in community roles because I love meeting people and helping create a better environment for everyone, from supporting local clean-up efforts to working with groups that strengthen our community. Through this work, I built connections with many amazing charities, including the Branksome Centre. After starting an affordable toddler Stay and Play group, I became increasingly involved, eventually becoming Joint Centre Coordinator. I’m proud of the welcoming space we’ve created for people to learn, get fit, and socialise, and I’m excited to see how both the Branksome Centre and Poole Communities Trust continue to grow.
