Poole Communities Trust is a small , local charity with a mission to inspire change and help address disadvantage.To help us achieve this , we focus on four priorities: 

 

  • Bringing people together , increasing community participation and improving skills and confidence.
  • Offering greater opportunities for children , young people and families.
  • Reducing the impact of poverty through food support , advice services and access to publicly funded services.
  • Ensuring we are a well run charity.

Our Projects

What We Do

Poole Communities Trust is a community led charity based in Poole, a large town on the Dorset coast. Whilst Poole is well known for its fabulous beaches and some successful businesses, there are also significant inequalities.

Branksome Centre

The Branksome Centre is a community hub in the middle of the lively Branksome area in Poole. It provides facilities and support for the local community and is run by the community, for the community.

Turlin Moor

The Let’s Talk Moor project is run by Poole Communities Trust & aims to help support more community services & facilities for the people who live on Turlin Moor with a weekly community food store each Tuesday at St Michaels Church Hall.

Bourne Community Hub

The new hub will provide a café, large activity hall, multi-function rooms and resource suite, an outdoor Multi-Use Games area (MUGA) and other facilities.

Branksome Centre
